Rivers of Astrum

Rivers of Astrum is a Dark Fantasy NSFW Adult Visual Novel. Work is ongoing, and virtually never-ending. The focus is on atmosphere and visual presentation, as well as good story telling and believable dialogue.

THE STORY:

A young woman, orphaned while very young on the streets of a city that did not want her. Plagued by recent dark visions, and no longer feeling safe where she is, she embarks on a journey to acquire the means of leaving the only place she's known as home.

This journey sees her caught up in a sweeping tide of destiny that no one could have predicted, and leaves her forever changed. Whether that change is for the better or for the worse is yet to be seen.

Content Toggles were introduced in public release 0.0.1.

I cannot stress enough how important is for people to go through these and toggle what they do not wish to see off, *before* starting the game. Things are going to get pretty extreme, and there will generally be no warning prior to the extreme content.

Choices will matter in Rivers of Astrum. Some of the effects of your choices may be seen immediately, and some may not become apparent for quite a while. I encourage you to play the game how you want, and see where it takes you. 

Bad Ends will be introduced in the upcoming release. They will occur often, and throughout the story. If you encounter one, you will be given the option to retry the scene that led to it. With that said, a content filter for the bad ends will also be introduced in the update, for those who do not wish to regularly be interrupted by them.
