Hey gang,
I know many of you may not care, but many of you may, so: In response to the announcement of their censorship, I attempted to have a communication about this in the itch dev channel, and i was silenced for "spamming". At this point, the anti-creator mindset of itch is fully known to me. We were told this:
What we got was an unceremonious boot, and a "fuck off." I am no longer willing to do business with a website that is run this poorly. And one that will enforce standards that haven't even been posted or agreed to, while refusing to adhere to their own mission statement themselves.
Effective immediately Rivers of Astrum: Daughter of Darkness is no longer available on itch. It will not return.

Fortunately my congressmen already support the idea of not allowing the credit card companies to run rampant. Therefore it was easy for me to add my voice to what they already believed, but I do prefer to be counted.

Thanks Tim! I've been all across the board with this thing. Written my senators, my congressmen, signed 2 petitions (this one included), etc. I'm fighting it in every way i know how, and encouraging everyone i can to do the same :)
